Terms & Conditions

(1): All invoice(s) must be paid for in full and within the payment terms set out on your invoice(s).

(2): To reserve a booking a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total invoice must be paid to Walker’s Catering Essex. The remaining 80% of the total invoice value is due 7 days before the date of the event. Failure to pay the remaining 80% of the total invoice on time, will result in the booking being cancelled, with the initial 20% deposit being kept by Walker’s Catering Essex.

(3) If making a booking within 7 days of the event, full payment is required to reserve the booking.

(4) Cancellations: 7 days’ notice is required should you wish to cancel your booking. You will not be eligible for a full refund, but you will be entitled to use the deposit you have paid towards a future booking.

(5) Amendments: Amendments can be made up to 7 days of the event, or when the full invoice has been made, whichever is earliest. Note amendments to the booking can only be reduced by 50% of the total invoice.

(6): Equipment that is provided by Walker’s Catering Essex should be returned in the same condition as it was delivered.

(7): Should equipment provided by Walker’s Catering Essex be missing or damaged, a replacement charge will be invoiced to you.

(8): Walker’s Catering Essex ask that you remove all food debris, cling film and lining paper from our equipment ready for collection on the next working day.

(9): Please make us aware when booking if your guests have allergies that you are aware of. We provide an allergen matrix to specify which of the 14 main allergens are included in all the food we have provided.

(10): It is your responsibility to communicate allergen information to the guests of the catering group you have booked for.

(11): Food being held at ambient temperatures should be disposed of within four hours of original time of delivery unless refrigerated. Walker’s Catering Essex will not accept any responsibility for the temperature control of the food once delivered.

(12): Any complaints against Walker’s Catering Essex must be received in writing on the day of the catering service it relates to.

(13): Walker’s Catering Essex reserve the right to change chosen dishes on your menu should they not be available or due to menu changes.
